Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
Community Eligibility Provision (CEP)
Public Release 25-26 School Year
Franklin City Schools is excited to announce the continuance of the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) for the 2025-2026 school year. Schools qualifying to operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) provide breakfast and lunch to students first grade through twelfth grade at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for determination of free, reduced-price, and paid student meals. However, to be considered for fee waivers or other programs available you will need to complete the household income survey to see if you qualify. This new approach reduces burdens for both families and school administrators and helps ensure that students receive nutritious meals. Please fill out the income form at Payschoolscentral.com, download from the Apple app store or Google Pay or request a printed form from your child's school or email the Food Service Department at Lfeltner@franklincityschools.com.
FREE HEALTH CARE: Families with children eligible for school meals may be eligible for FREE health care coverage through Medicaid and/or Ohio’s Healthy Start & Healthy Families programs. These programs include coverage for doctor visits, immunizations, physicals, prescriptions, dental, vision, mental health, substance abuse and more. Please call 1-800-324-8680 for more information or to request an application. Information can also be found on the web at http://jfs.ohio.gov/ohp/consumers/familychild.stm.
