About Principal Lori Limon
Originally from Middletown, Ohio, Lori Limon is a proud mother of four amazing children, the wife of an incredible husband, and the grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters. She graduated from Madison High School, earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education from Ohio University, a Master of Arts in Education from City University in Seattle, Washington, and her Principal Licensure from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Lori has dedicated 32 years to education, serving students, families, and communities across three states. During a summer session at Ohio University, she had the unique opportunity to work in Yellowstone National Park. That experience inspired her to venture west to Auburn, Washington, where she began her professional career with the Auburn School District. Throughout her career, Lori has worked in three states, four school districts, and five schools:
- Cascade Middle School, Auburn, Washington
- Auburn High School, Auburn, Washington
- Madison High School, Middletown, Ohio
- Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School, Fort Collins, Colorado
- Edgewood High School, Trenton, Ohio
Lori began her career as a mathematics teacher at Cascade Middle School. After serving as the Academic Dean at Kinard Core Knowledge Middle School in Colorado, she returned to her hometown of Middletown to care for her mother. She later spent eight years as Assistant Principal at Edgewood High School before joining Franklin High School as Principal.
Now entering her third year as Principal of Franklin High School, Lori remains honored to serve the students, staff, families, and community of Franklin. She is committed to fostering a positive school culture that celebrates the proud traditions of Franklin High School while preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.
Lori firmly believes that creating a supportive environment for both students and staff is essential to success. Guided by core values such as compassion, trust, hard work, respect, honesty, kindness, and accountability, she strives to build meaningful relationships and cultivate a strong sense of Wildcat pride throughout the school community.
