Principal's Message

Principal's Message

Dear Students, Parents, and Community Members:

Welcome to the start of a brand-new school year! It is an absolute privilege to introduce myself as your Principal. Junior high is a unique, vibrant, and pivotal chapter in a student’s life as it is a time of incredible discovery, rapid growth, and emerging independence. I am thrilled to partner with you to ensure our school is a place where every student feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.

My commitment to fostering an exceptional learning environment is shaped by a 25-year career in education, serving as both a classroom teacher and a school administrator. This dual perspective allows me to deeply understand the daily joys and challenges of our classrooms while strategically leading our building toward continuous growth.

My professional journey is supported by a strong educational foundation from the University of Dayton, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education & Spanish (K-12) and my Master of Science in Educational Leadership. My years in the classroom taught me the vital importance of connection and tailored instruction, while my administrative tenure has equipped me to build safe, collaborative, and high-achieving school cultures.

While my background provides the framework for our school's direction, true success comes from working together. Our goals here at the junior high directly reflect Franklin City Schools' mission: Together, proudly educating the future of Franklin. By aligning our daily building focus with the district's high expectations, we ensure an educational journey where every Wildcat thrives. Moving forward, our team is focused on three core pillars:
● Academic Excellence: Challenging our students with innovative learning experiences that spark curiosity and critical thinking.
● Character and Leadership: Fostering resilience, accountability, and personal responsibility so our students become positive leaders.
● A Supportive Community: Creating an environment where every student feels connected, safe, and motivated to do their best work.

A thriving junior high relies on a strong bridge between home and school. I invite you to stay actively involved, communicate openly with our staff, and partner with us as we navigate this journey together. Your insights, support, and engagement are what make our school community truly exceptional.

Thank you for your trust and partnership. Let’s make this an incredible school year! Go Wildcats!!

Sincerely,
Molly Corrado
