FCS Transportation Update for the 25–26 School Year
Hello from the FCS Transportation Department!
Thank you for your patience as we finalized busing for the 2025–2026 school year. Several important changes are in effect this year due to FCS moving to state minimum transportation requirements following our recent levy failures.
These changes include:
- The elimination of high school busing
- Transition to half-day AM & PM kindergarten/preschool
- Implementation of a 2-mile radius no-busing zone around each school building
- To clarify: the 2-mile no-busing zone is based on a straight-line radius around each building, not a 2-mile driving distance.
Busing information is now available on the My Ride K-12 ParentApp!
You will need your child's student ID # and Birthday to access this information.
Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.
We’re looking forward to a great year ahead!
