Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The next board meeting is May 18, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 5/15, by 3 p.m.

Color Guard

The Franklin Winter Guard is the competition performance division of color guard.  We are comprised of 3 teams: Elementary, Junior High, and High School.  The high school team works in conjunction with the band during fall. Then, during the winter months, we compete all across Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky in the Mid East Performance Association.

 
Winter Guard is especially important to Franklin schools as it provides alternative sports options for students to maintain physical fitness. Our practices incorporate cardiovascular exercise, stability training, and strength development.  Our performances provide a creative outlet, fostering various skills from dance, gymnastics, and theatre.
