Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The Franklin City Schools Records Commission will meet on June 22 at 5:30 p.m. The purpose of this meeting is to review the records retention schedule of the district and any other pertinent records-related topics. This meeting will be held in the Franklin High School Media Center on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005.

 

The next board meeting is June 22, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 6/19, by 3 p.m.

Purple Star students from Franklin City Schools recently participated in the community's Memorial Day Parade. The Purple Star designation recognizes students and families connected to the nation's military.

All seven of Franklin City Schools classroom buildings have again been named Purple Star Schools; 600 Ohio schools have earned this designation. Per the ODEW website: “Purple Star schools show a significant commitment to serving students and families connected to our nation’s armed forces.”
