Board of Education Meetings:
The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold a special meeting on March 17 at 5:00 p.m. in both the Franklin High School Media Center and Large Conference Room, which are adjoining rooms, on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and strategize the School Board's vision and mission. No action is anticipated.
The next board meeting is March 23, 2026, in the FHS Media Center. The agenda will be available on Friday, 3/20, by 3 p.m.
Today’s edition of “Meet-a-Wildcat” introduces us to Ms. Mikaela McWhinnie. Mikaela joins the staff at Gerke in the Tier 3 unit as an Intervention Specialist. She is a brand new teacher. She made her choice in education to show each student they can learn and enjoys helping them reach their fullest potential. Her heart belongs to the world of special education. She is looking forward to experiencing the uniqueness of the Franklin family. Welcome, Mikaela!
