Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Board Room.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session Meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • Next meeting: April 28, 6 p.m., Franklin High School Media Center.

Little Cats, Big Minds Flyer

Little Cats, Big Minds is back for our 4th annual event!  This event will be targeted at children ages 0-5 who live in Franklin and will be future Wildcats! It is for all current kindergartners as well (even if they are 6).  It will be held at Franklin Junior High on Saturday, April 26th from 11-1 pm. We will have several booths with activities, food, and raffle prizes for the families. At each booth, there will be an activity for the families to participate in, and they will be receiving an activity to work on at home too. 

Examples of Booths: 

  • This year we have several NEW booths!

  • Focus on knowing the letters of the alphabet 

  • Focus on sounds in the alphabet 

  • Focus on numbers 

  • Focus on writing 

  • Scissor practice

  • Music booth 

  • Physical Activity 

  • Sensory Activity 

  • Fire and Police - touch a truck/cruiser 

  • Multiple local preschools 

  • Library 

  • Dolly Parton Imagination Library 

  • Food - We hope this will help get people excited 

  • Raffle prizes
