Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The next board meeting is April 27, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 4/24, by 3 p.m.

Franklin City Schools to Host Big Red Rally at Stadium on May 1

FRANKLIN — The community is invited to celebrate student achievement and school spirit at the Big Red Rally 2026, scheduled for Friday, May 1, at the stadium.

Gates will open at 6:15 p.m. for the free, family-friendly event, which is open to the entire community. The rally will highlight Franklin City Schools' sports teams and school clubs, offering attendees an opportunity to recognize student participation across a wide range of activities.

Food trucks will be on site with items available for purchase. In addition, free hot dogs and water will be provided by New Vine Community Church. The Franklin Education Association will host raffles and giveaways throughout the evening.

The event will conclude with a pep rally honoring all student athletes, including senior athletes from the 2025–2026 school year.

Organizers say the event is designed to bring the community together in support of Franklin students and their accomplishments.
