Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold a special meeting on March 17 at 5:00 p.m. in both the Franklin High School Media Center and Large Conference Room, which are adjoining rooms, on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and strategize the School Board's vision and mission. No action is anticipated.

  

The next board meeting is March 9, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 3/6, by 3 p.m.

FHS to present "Number the Stars" Feb. 6, 7, and 8

The Franklin High School Drama Club will present "Number the Stars," a stage adaptation of Lois Lowry’s acclaimed novel, on Feb. 6 and 7 (7 p.m.) and 8 (2 p.m.) in the McDade Auditorium. 750 E. 4th Street, Franklin.

Tickets will be available at the door or may be purchased ahead of time at https://fhsdrama.booktix.com/.

The show is produced by special arrangement with THE DRAMATIC PUBLISHING COMPANY of Woodstock, Illinois.

 

Senior Citizens' Performance: The drama club will continue its tradition of offering a complimentary senior citizens' performance of Number the Stars Thursday, Feb. 5, at 9:30 a.m. Donuts and coffee will be served to seniors at 9 a.m. before the start of the show.

There is no cost to attend, but seniors must RSVP by calling the FHS main office at 937-743-8611. Please note that attendees are to call the HIGH SCHOOL office to RSVP, but the performance is in the McDade Auditorium in the junior high building.

Attendees should take a photo ID when they check in at the junior high office.
