Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the FHS Media Center
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

FHS Fire Alarm

At approximately 12:28 pm on Wednesday, March 9, the fire alarm at Franklin High School sounded. The building was immediately evacuated and the Franklin Fire department was dispatched to the building. Building staff accounted for all students and the fire department cleared the building. There was no fire. After conducting an investigation, the fire department believes the alarm was caused by dust on sensors. Students and staff were able to enter the building at approximately 12:55 pm and resume their school day. 

The safety of students and staff will always be the focus of the district. Thank you for your cooperation.
