Board of Education Meetings:

Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
All board meetings include time for public comments.

Special Meeting: The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools, in a joint meeting with Franklin City Council, will hold a special meeting on August 6 at 5:30 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005. This meeting will be held to discuss communication between the two boards, school finances, and economic development in addition to general goals and purposes.

Students explored the magic and wonders of chemistry when COSI (Center of Science and Industry) brought its traveling science program “It’s Simply Chemistry” to Anthony Wayne Elementary on November 1st. All students participated in a variety of activities during which the students made their very own COSI Super Slime, created endothermic and exothermic reactions, and learned to identify unknown substances using chemistry. Many thanks to our Franklin High School students, Anthony Wayne parents, Franklin City Council, as well as Franklin Fire and Police for volunteering â€‹â€‹for our special event. A special thanks to the McLane Foundation for funding this incredible learning experience for our student
