The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will move the date of its already scheduled regular meeting on June 24, which will be held at 6 p.m. The rescheduled regular meeting will now be scheduled as a special meeting for June 17 at 6 p.m. The meeting will still be held in the Franklin Junior High School Cafeteria on 750 E 4th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a rescheduled regular meeting for general purposes.

The Board of Education of the Franklin City School District has determined that the real property located at 4203 Pennyroyal Road, Franklin, OH 45005, Warren County Auditor Parcel ID Number 0427427001 will be offered for sale at public auction. The auction will be held at the property, which is located at 4203 Pennyroyal Road, Franklin, OH 45005, and will occur on June 14, 2024 at 12 p.m. Conditions of Sale and other pertinent information regarding the sale are available on request at the Board office by contacting Kevin Hawley, Treasurer, at 937-743-8603 or khawley@franklincityschools.com.

Construction Affecting Bus Routes

Two construction projects are affecting Franklin City Schools' bus routes at the start of the school year.

1. Beal Road closure at St. Rt. 123. Bus stops are unchanged, but be advised that due to detours, buses may be moving slower than usual.

2. Moreland Acres off Union Rd. Moreland Acres is having a water main and lines installed. Buses will not be able to travel down Moreland Drive. All students living on Moreland Dr., Jeff Dr., and Celeste Dr. must come to the corner of Moreland Dr. at Union Rd.; buses will stop at the entrance for pick up and drop off. High school and Junior High student pick up/drop off will be around 6:40 a.m. and 2:51 p.m.; Hunter Elementary will be around 7:45 a.m. and 3:34 p.m.; a.m. preschool will be around 8:50 a.m. and 12:23 p.m.
