Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The next board meeting is February 23, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 2/20, by 3 p.m.

Franklin City Schools has announced start and end times for the school year 

FHS and FJHS: 7:30 a.m., to 2:30 p.m.


Gerke, Hunter and Franklin Intermediate: 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.


Schenck: 8:40 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. 
     AM Kindergarten: 8:40 a.m. to 11:25 p.m.
     PM Kindergarten: 12:55 p.m. to 3:40 p.m.
