Board of Education Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Board Room and the Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center. No Work Session Meeting scheduled in July or December. Next meeting: Feb. 10, 6 p.m., FJHS Board Room.

Board of Education Opening

The Franklin City Schools Board of Education will have an open seat effective Feb. 4, 2025, due to the resignation of board member Bob Knipper. This opening is for an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2025. 

Persons interested in being considered for the seat are invited to submit a cover letter and resume to Dr. Mike Sander, Superintendent of Schools, by 3 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3. 

Applicants must live within the school district’s boundaries.

The letter and resume may be submitted in one of three ways:

  • via email to msander@franklincityschools.com
  • via US mail to Dr. Mike Sander, Franklin City Schools, 754 E. 4th St., Franklin, OH 45005  
  • in person at the District’s administrative offices, 754 E. 4th St., Franklin, OH 45005
