Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. 
  • Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold a special meeting on March 17 at 5:00 p.m. in both the Franklin High School Media Center and Large Conference Room, which are adjoining rooms, on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and strategize the School Board's vision and mission. No action is anticipated.

  

The next board meeting is March 9, 2026, in the FHS Media Center.  The agenda will be available on Friday, 3/6, by 3 p.m.

Board of Education Opening

The Franklin City Schools Board of Education will have an open seat effective February 27, 2026, due to the resignation of board member Ashley Blevins. This opening is for an unexpired term ending Dec. 31, 2027. 

Persons interested in being considered for the seat are invited to submit a cover letter and resume to Andy Fleming, President of Franklin City Schools Board of Education, by 6 p.m. on Monday, March 9, 2026. 

Applicants must live within the school district’s boundaries.

The letter and resume may be submitted in one of three ways:

  • via email to afleming@franklincityschools.com
  • via US mail to Andy Fleming, Franklin City Schools, 754 E. 4th St., Franklin, OH 45005  
  • in person at the District’s administrative offices, 754 E. 4th St., Franklin, OH 45005
