Board of Education Meetings:

Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m.
Meetings are in the Franklin High School Media Center.
No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
All board meetings include time for public comments.

The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold a special meeting on March 17 at 5:00 p.m. in both the Franklin High School Media Center and Large Conference Room, which are adjoining rooms, on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss and strategize the School Board's vision and mission. No action is anticipated.

The next board meeting is March 23, 2026, in the FHS Media Center. The agenda will be available on Friday, 3/20, by 3 p.m.

Welcome back to “Meet-a-Wildcat,” where we introduce you to incoming staff members. This week we meet Mrs. Alicia Mailhot, who isn’t new to Franklin, but new to her role. Mrs. Mailhot has served as the assistant principal at Franklin Junior High School for the last five years, but will now be taking over as the principal. She currently resides in Lebanon with her family. Her favorite aspect about being a Wildcat is “the pride we have for our community. Our staff, parents and students see our schools as the heart and soul of this city. We keep serving the students, and the community, at the center of all we do.” She’s excited to embark on this new chapter as principal. Congratulations on your new role, Alicia!
