Board of Education Meetings:

  • Work Sessions will be held the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Board Room.
  • Regular Board Meetings will be held the fourth Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. in the Franklin High School Media Center.
  • No Work Session meeting scheduled in July or December.
  • All board meetings include time for public comments.

 

The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold its already scheduled meeting for December 8 at the Franklin High School Media Center on 140 E 6th St, Franklin, OH 45005.

 

Next board meeting: December 8, 6 p.m., Franklin High School Media Center.

2025 Hall of Fame Induction

FHS 2025 Hall of Fame Class to be inducted Sept. 20
 
Six individuals will be inducted into the Franklin High School Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 20, in the Franklin High School Commons. Festivities include a meet-and-greet at 4 p.m. followed by the induction ceremony at 5 p.m. The honorees will also be recognized at the Franklin-Carlisle football game on Friday, Sept. 19. The game begins at 7 p.m.
 
2025 inductees include Nancy Sharts Hopko (Class of 1971); Holly Mears Daniels (Class of 1985); Kyle Blackford (Class of 2009); Tony Donisi (Class of 1972); Corbett Caudill (Class of 1961); and Eddie Wallace (Class of 1984). They will join 122 individuals who have been inducted in prior years.
 
The ceremony is free and the public is welcome. Those who would like to nominate someone for the Hall of Fame can find a form on the Franklin City Schools website, www.franklincityschools.com, under Departments > Alumni News > Hall of Fame.
 
HOF committee members include Steve Peters, Rick Chamberlain, Lori Raleigh, Andy Fleming, Marvin Sands, Bob Knipper, Jeff Kirby, Amy Miller, Brad Childers, and Susan Hollon.
