SCHOOL EMERGENCY TIPS FOR PARENTS

STAY PUT! ~ STAY INFORMED!  ~ STAY READY! ~ DON’T TEXT and DON’T CALL!

STAY PUT

  • Don’t rush to school, stay home...a traffic gridlock could keep first responders from reaching our building.

  • By keeping the roads clear, we allow our first responders and transportation personnel to do their jobs.

STAY INFORMED

  • We will update the district every 30 minutes through our one call systems, as well as pushing information through our website, social media, and news affiliates.  Please check the following news feeds:

Website franklincityschools.com

Twitter @FCSWildcats

Facebook @FranklinCitySchools

Local news affiliates WHIO, WDTN, WLWT, etc…

STAY READY

  • As soon as possible, we will announce a time and location for you to be reunified with your son/daughter.

  • The reunification process does not happen quickly, please stay patient.

DON’T TEXT and DON’T CALL

  • If your son/daughter is in a lockdown situation, a text or call might put them in greater danger by giving up their location.

  • Allow them to contact you when they are safe.
