Hurricane Relief Drive

Posted on: September 18, 2017 12:00 am

When Hurricane Harvey hit Houston we had less than 24 hours to react and get relief to those in need. That's when The Franklin HS School Counseling & Guidance office teamed up with the FHS Athletic Office to send Franklin gear to the Houston flooding victims; and we really didn’t know what to expect or what type of response we would get. We knew that we had to act fast and we knew we needed our schools and community to come together….and quite frankly, it’s been AMAZING! We had close to 100 items of Franklin gear to donate to those in need that have lost everything in the Houston Flood. Our 'Box' was sent out within 24 hours of the hurricane hitting and it could not have been done without the kindness of our Franklin Coaches, Club Advisors, Teachers, and Community Members. Our Schools & Community is truly a special place.  #HoustonStrong #WeAreFranklin
