As Principal of Franklin High School, I would like to welcome you to the 2019-2020 school year.  It is both an honor and privilege to lead the staff and students of Franklin High School in our quest to make our school the best it can be.  It is a great responsibility to serve the Franklin City Schools and the broader Franklin community and we embrace it whole-heartedly.

The staff of Franklin High School is committed to preparing our students for the challenges that await them when they leave our halls.  Whether they pursue additional education, enter the workforce, or enlist into the military our goal is to assure that our students have the skills and knowledge needed to find success.  This is a goal we strive for everyday.

We look to provide our students with a rigorous and diverse academic environment, vibrant extracurricular activities, and varied leadership opportunities.  This begins with setting clear and high-level academic and social expectations, and holding our students to those expectations.  We also look to provide choice for students related to their academic interests.  Whether through our AP and CCP programs or through our successful Fine and Performing Arts Department, Franklin students are provided the environment to excel.  This quest for excellence extends to our athletic programs and student organizations.

Franklin City Schools are the heart of the Franklin community and we at FHS foster this unique and valuable relationship.  We encourage and welcome parental and community involvement and support.  It is through a dedicated and purposeful partnership between students, staff, parents, and community members that we will find the path to continued success.

I encourage you to contact me with your questions or to provide us with constructive feedback.

Go Wildcats!
