Franklin High School Graduates Receive Scholarships to Attend Sinclair Community College

Shyann Keith, 2016 graduate of Franklin High School, was recognized at a Scholarship Reception at the Sinclair Conference Center in downtown Dayton on August 11, 2016. 

Shyann, who is pursuing a Health Sciences degree, received a Regional Scholarship, especially for students who reside outside of Montgomery County.  The scholarship provides $1,000 per semester to assist with tuition for students studying full-time at Sinclair.  Recipients of the scholarship must have at least a 3.0 high school GPA when applying.

 

Centerville Resident and Franklin High School Graduate Receive Scholarship
to Attend Sinclair Community College

Alexander Coburn, Centerville resident and 2016 graduate of Franklin High School, was recognized at a Scholarship Reception at the Sinclair Conference Center in downtown Dayton on August 11, 2016. 

Coburn, who is studying mathematics, received a Virginia McNeal scholarship, named in honor of community leader and former long-time Sinclair Board of Trustee Virginia McNeal and presented to students studying full time at Sinclair.  The award provides $1,000 per semester to assist with tuition.  Recipients of the scholarship must have at least a 3.0 high school GPA when applying.

Sinclair is recognized as a local and national leader in delivering high-quality and affordable higher education. One of the oldest and best known community colleges in the nation, Sinclair was founded in 1887 and is a board member of the prestigious League for Innovation in the Community College. Sinclair offers over 220 accredited degrees and certificates.
