Exam Exemption Forms are due Monday 5/10!
 

Graduation Tickets:

Every student that has confirmed they are walking in Graduation has been allotted 3 tickets for graduation.  Tickets are available through Hometown Ticketing.  THEY ARE FREE, we are just using this service to track tickets.  To claim tickets, please enter your students ID# and claim your tickets.  Tickets will be scanned as guests enter at graduation, so please make sure you have the online confirmation for your tickets.

Senior Stuff!

  • FEES: 

    • If your student still owes school fees, they must be paid by cash, money order or online via EZ Pay.  We are no longer accepting checks for Class of 2021 fees.  If fees are not paid by 3pm on Wednesday May18th, students will not receive their diploma at graduation.

  • Adopt a Senior:

    • Attention Seniors:  There is an Adopt A Senior campaign going on!  The community wants to support each of you but in order to do so, you need to submit your Adopt A Senior post.

    • When:  Now!!  Gifts will be given out soon!

  • Senior Awards Friday May 7th

  • Senior Breakfast hosted by Frisch’s Tuesday May 11th

    • This is not a school sponsored event. Frisch’s here in Franklin has offered to open early so that the Class of 2021 can have breakfast as a group before their last day of school.  Doors will open at 6AM.  Frisch’s recommends the kids arrive by 6:30 so that there is plenty of time to get their orders cooked!!  The Breakfast Bar will be open to make things go faster!  They are offering everyone 10% off and a FREE Big Boy Coupon.  That Big Boy coupon can be used at the breakfast or anytime afterward.  So, come on over before your last day of school and have breakfast with your class!  As required by the state, appropriate covid measures are being taken.  Please wear a mask when you are not eating.  FHS Class of 2021  

  • Senior Exams Wednesday May 12-Friday May 14

    • Exempted if you have a 79.5% or higher average 2nd Semester

    • Given during regular class periods 

    • Attendance only required in periods where exams are needed.

    • If exempting all exams, last day is Tuesday May 11th

  • Pictures at JH and Stadium May 16th

    • Bob Hogan will be taking Senior cap and gown photos on Sunday May 16.  Stay tuned for further details as we work through the logistics.  We are planning to take pictures at the Football Field and Jr. High.  All Seniors to wear your cap and gown and the clothes under it that you plan to wear at graduation. 

    • Bob is offering to take both individual and group shots and then post them to his site for you to purchase.  He is bringing the drone for some really nice shots too.  

    • More details to come.  Currently we plan to be at the Junior High at 6PM. With adding in the football field we are in the process of scheduling that time.  It may start as early as 5PM.  Please be patient and flexible as we are trying to do something really nice for the kids! 

    • Details will also be posted on the FHS Adopt A 2021 Senior Facebook page.  Please join that page for all the latest.

  • Elementary Class 2021 Senior Clap Out Tuesday May 18th 

    • For all FCS Elementary Buildings

    • Tuesday May 18th @ 2:30pm 

    • Staff and students will line up outside due to Covid and recognize the graduating seniors that attended specific elementary buildings.  Students should wear their cap and gown.  

    • Elementary Clap Outs have been organized and approved by FHS Administration, Elementary Administration and Central Office. 

    • Rain Date: Wednesday May 19th 

    • If you went to Schenck, they have also scheduled a group photo for Seniors that attended there on May 2 at 5:30. 

  • Gallery of Graduates Drive-Through Celebration Tuesday May 18th 

    • 6-8pm

    • Franklin Community Park 

    • Graduates arrive at 5:45 pm to reserve a sport.  

    • Traffic of well wishes will enter from Sixth St. and exit out the back of the park.  

  • Graduation Friday May 21st @ Princeton Pike Church of God 7pm

    • Graduation Practice Wednesday May 19th from 9-11am

    • In order to receive your diploma, all fees (school and lunch) must be paid in full by Graduation Practice (we will accept payment at practice)

  • Chromebooks

    • A $250 donation to FHS has been earmarked for every senior to keep their Chromebook.

    • Please note, you must have a personal gmail account to continue to utilize the device post graduation.

    • If you have documents in your FCS Google Drive you want to keep, we would recommend getting a Gmail account and start the migration process now.  

  • Seniors/Class of 2021 and Lunch Charges:

    • As of Monday January 11th, no Seniors are allowed to charge any extra items if their account has a negative balance.  We will be accepting payments starting Monday January 11th from the hours of 7:15-12:45pm in the FHS Cafeteria.  Payments can also be made online through EZpay with no fee added. 

 

Just a reminder for all Seniors and their families that all outstanding  SCHOOL and LUNCH FEES must be paid in full for a student to receive their diploma upon graduation.
