Upcoming Conferences:

FAFSA Information Night:

Franklin High School will be hosting an informational FAFSA meeting on the Night of October 26th starting at 5:30pm.  A representative from Sinclair Community College will be providing families and students information about what types of aid are available, how to get started with your FAFSA and other general information.  This is a great opportunity for current seniors and families.  We look forward to seeing you then!

 

Be The Difference Day:

Changepoint Learning LLC will be sponsoring BE THE DIFFERENCE DAY for the entire sophomore class on Monday, October 31. Be The Difference Day is an all day program that seeks to help teens engage their peers with respect, to break down stereotypes, build respect, and put an end to bullying. The program focuses on building others up instead of putting others down, understanding other peoples’ stories, and focusing on what we have in common instead of what divides us to seek positive change inside and outside the school community. It is truly a powerful day that will leave your sophomore feeling better connected to their peers.  If you do NOT want your sophomore student to participate, please complete and return this form to the FHS Guidance Office by the morning of the program.  If you have any questions, you can reach out to one of the counselors in the Guidance Office.
