The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will move the dates of its already scheduled regular meetings on April 8 and June 24, both of which were to be held at 6 p.m. These rescheduled regular meetings will now be scheduled as special meetings for April 11 and June 17 at 6 p.m. These meetings will still be held in the Franklin Junior High School Cafeteria on 750 E 4th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of these meetings is to hold a rescheduled regular meeting for general purposes.

The purpose of this meeting is to hold an executive session to discuss personnel, employment matters, and the potential sale of property. No action is anticipated.

Due to an abundance of caution related to Covid-19, the Homecoming Dance scheduled for Saturday 9/25 will be held outside. We were able to rent a tent that has to be set-up Thursday after school. This will affect drop-off and pick-up on Friday 9/24, and potentially drop-off on 9/27. In terms of drop off, it will be imperative that everyone continue to follow our current morning traffic pattern. This pattern will work, even with the tent in place. The biggest issue will be pick-up. Therefore, to keep everyone safe, there will be no parent pick-up tomorrow until 2:45. All parking lots will be closed to all traffic except busses until 2:45. Once the busses leave the lot, parents will be able to come on campus and pick up their children. Please make sure grandparents or anyone else who picks up your child is aware of this for tomorrow. Again, there will be no parent-pick up on Friday 9/24 until after 2:45pm.
