The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will move the dates of its already scheduled regular meetings on April 8 and June 24, both of which were to be held at 6 p.m. These rescheduled regular meetings will now be scheduled as special meetings for April 11 and June 17 at 6 p.m. These meetings will still be held in the Franklin Junior High School Cafeteria on 750 E 4th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of these meetings is to hold a rescheduled regular meeting for general purposes.

The Board of Education for Franklin City Schools will hold a special meeting on April 17 at 5:00 p.m. in the Franklin Junior High School Cafeteria on 750 E 4th St, Franklin, OH 45005. The purpose of this meeting is to hold an executive session to discuss personnel, employment matters, and the potential sale of property. No action is anticipated.

COSI Visit

Students explored the magic and wonders of chemistry when COSI (Center of Science and Industry) brought its traveling science program “It’s Simply Chemistry” to Anthony Wayne Elementary on November 1st. All students participated in a variety of activities during which the students made their very own COSI Super Slime, created endothermic and exothermic reactions, and learned to identify unknown substances using chemistry. Many thanks to our Franklin High School students, Anthony Wayne parents, Franklin City Council, as well as Franklin Fire and Police for volunteering for our special event. A special thanks to the McLane Foundation for funding this incredible learning experience for our student
