Welcome to Pennyroyal Elementary School!

Pennyroyal has an exceptional community of teachers, paraprofessionals, support staff, involved parents, and most importantly, great students. We are a dedicated team with the purpose of providing a safe, nurturing and supportive environment. Our goal is to provide an instructional program that fosters the intellectual, emotional, social and physical development of each child. By providing teaching that informs, inspires and challenges, we hope to instill a love of learning that continues throughout your child's life.

We follow a rigorous age appropriate curriculum that is aligned with state standards and benchmarks. Students also receive special area instruction in art, vocal and instrumental music, physical education, and library. In addition to a fully equipped technology lab, every classroom has a networked bank of computers. We provide differentiated instruction in general education and a continuum of service for special needs students. Our students take pride in being Respectful, Responsible, Cooperative, and they love to read.

Pennyroyal teachers have been busy this summer planning lessons, reviewing the academic goals for their students, attending classes, and learning about ongoing assessment and how it can help students experience success.

We are confident that by working together to build a positive collaboration between home and school we can offer quality educational experiences. It is through this coordinated effort that our remarkable staff, involved parents and eager children will strive to ensure excellence in education for all our children.
