Red Ribbon Week

Red Ribbon Week – October 24-31. SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) will promote choosing a drug free life by having different activities throughout the week.

  • Advisory Door Decorating Contest – Please have your advisory come up with a drug free door theme. Pinterest has great examples. The door needs to be completed by Friday, October 28. The winning door will receive a prize. PLEASE PARTICIPATE.

  • Dress up days –

    • Monday – “Hide away from drugs” – Camo day

    • Tuesday – “I elect to be drug free” – American Day

    • Wednesday – “Education is a key to being drug free” – Teacher day – dress like one of your teachers.

    • Thursday – “Have the POWER to just say NO to drugs” – super hero day

    • Friday – “Live your happily ever after drug free” – Disney day

    • Monday – “Spook out drugs” – Costume day

  • Weekly Activities – at lunch we will set up at the ticket booth in the lobby. Subject to change.

    • Monday – Put a X on drugs

    • Tuesday – Emoji Photo Booth

    • Wednesday – K9 Demo

    • Thursday – Corn hole with drunken goggles

    • Friday – Our Positive Choices banner

    • Monday – Trivia Day

  • Give Aways – students who have dressed up can stop by the ticket booth before school and receive a gift. I will have a limited number of gifts so come early.

    • Monday – bandanas

    • Tuesday – white skimmer hat

    • Wednesday – key chains

    • Thursday – rubber ducks

    • Friday – ring pop

    • Monday - candy

  • Drawing – for every day someone dresses out they can get a ticket during lunch which will make them eligible to win “A DINNER AND A MOVIE PRIZE” - Applebee’s Gift Card and 2 Tickets to Middletown Cinema. Drawing will be the Tuesday, November 1.
